"Do you think I care" Alabaster said. Why was Ashley judging me so quickly, she doesn't even know me. Alabaster thought in his mind. "Look.. I'm not afraid to die, and even if your father would make me die by saying that I'm not scared of him, I wouldn't be scared of dying." Alabaster said confidently, hoping Ashley would see where he was coming from. Or possibly that didn't make any sense Alabaster thought.

Ashley looked down. "I-I'm sorry... Sometimes I judge someone before they prove themselves." She really did feel ashamed. She sent a silent prayer to her dad not to kill him, knowing he most likely would. "But if you really want to walk with me, then we can I guess." She raised her head and looked at him.

Alabaster felt good about this. He felt as if he had lifted a weight off of his shoulders and hers. Possibly he was wrong about hers. "Cool, then we can walk then. This is like the only place I know about so far, I've just trained the whole day." She could see there was some sweat dripping from his body. "One moment" Alabaster said. He walked over to his bag and grabbed his water bottle and taked a sip, then threw it back in the bag. "Okay, lets go." Alabaster said as he started to head out of the arena, looking back at her.

Ashley followed slowly after him. "Um, yeah..." She walked next-behind him and kind of kept her head down but up. She didn't want to see any of the glances the others could give her.

As Alabaster was very over-protective, he stepped back to walk with her. And whenever somebody gave her a look he just glared at them. It seemed as people got the message as they stopped. "So, how is camp so far?" Alabaster asked while they were walking down the road.

Ashley gave a small shrug. "Its a tad better then my old life I guess. Um, you?" She love-hated it here. It was nice to get away from her mom but horrible to get treated the way she did here. She was almost happy when she saw the looks on the kids faces when Alabaster gave them a glare. "Thank you..."

Alabaster looked at Ashley's face and saw she was slightly happy. "Ya, no problem. I don't get what their problem is with you." Alabaster said cheerfully. He continued walking by her side. Waving to someone now and then.

"Their scared of me. They hate me for no reason. Thats their problem with me." Ashley stated that as coldly as she could. She hated when people did that, one of the main reasons she hated herself. "But it doesn't bother me. I guess I've grown used to it." She sighed and looked down again.

Alabaster saw Ashley was down. He sighed and put his hand on her chin in a effort to get her to look up. "Hey, that's their problem, your great." Alabaster said, trying to cheer her up.

Ashley just nodded. "I guess. But its hard being alone. If you understand or not..." She looked up fully and nodded to herself. She wouldn't show the fear or pain anymore. No more sad, shy Ashley.
