Danny was waiting at the fancy restaurant that Alabaster told her to meet him at but unfortunately she was 10 minutes early. She walked in and sat down at a table the waiter asked if he could get her anything but it didn't feel right to Danny to start eating without him, she just go a glass of water. The thought of water calmed Danny down she was a little nervous this was their official first date. Danny was waiting for Alabaster and decided to manipulate the water into shapes of different types of fish, to help calm her down and pass the time.

Alabaster was thinking about that night. *Third date.. But for Danny's sake I'll just say it's my first.* Alabaster thought nervously. He combed his hair in the barracks but it just felt as if he was a Venus kid. He ran a hand through his hair ruggedly and hoped it looked better. He put on a SPQR shirt(Purple) and some jeans.*Hopefully this isn't to crappy of an outfit* Alabaster thought to himself. He walked out of the barracks and into the night. Finally, about 10 minutes later he was in-front of the restaurant.*Just made it!* Alabaster thought to himself as he opened the door and spotted Danny. Alabaster noticed she looked beautiful but he told himself to not focus on that. "Hey Danny" Alabaster said as he walked up to her, smiling. He sat down next to her and noticed she was slightly nervous.

"Hello Alabaster" Danny said formally. She was nervous was she overdressed she was in a stunning blue strapless dress that shimmered in the light just as water did. She saw that Alabaster was wearing his SPQR shirt and blue jeans. *thank the gods* she thought seeing Alabaster in a tux would just not be the Alabaster she knew. The waiter came over and asked what they would like and Danny said that she would like a salad, she was trying to be a vegetarian but that wasn't working well for her.

Alabaster couldn't help but be ashamed when he saw what Danny was wearing. He was wearing just h is SPQR shirt and blue jeans and she was in a blue strapless dress. *My god am I outplayed* Alabaster thought to himself as he gulped down some air."I'll just have some water. But don't forget a shot of Nectar" Alabaster said to the waiter who had asked what they would like."He grasped Danny's hand from across the table. "So, how's camp so far?" Alabaster asked.

Danny laughed "besides almost dying great" she was always afraid of death but she want afraid of sacrifice and she would gladly give her life to save Alabaster, just as sure she knew he would give his life for her. Most of her nightmares were Alabaster giving hid life to save her because she was too weak, she was always afraid she was weak. As Alabaster drunk his shot of nectar Danny couldn't help but wonder what it tasted like.

As if he knew what Danny had said Alabaster replied "Your not weak. And let's just say the wind told me what you were thinking." Maybe Alabaster had made her nervous, now that she knew he could do that.He grasped her hand more tightly. "Look.. Danny, it might not be what it used to be with only you and me. But I can change for you" Alabaster said sincerely. He looked for a response and searched her face for any emotion that might be found.

" don't say that" Danny said while letting go of Alabaster's hand and turning " you make me sound like that i don't love you the way you are" Danny was getting very emotional and was on the verge of crying. "But i do and i don't want you to change, it's just that i want you to understand that i don't always need you protecting me after all i'm a big three too, and extremely powerful, and you know that." Danny said with a small laugh "I understand it's your way of showing me that you love and care about you, but what i'm saying is that i know that you love me, and i know you will always be there when i need or want you, but please," Danny said turning back to look into his eyes "let me be free, only be there when i need you and don't ever put my needs and wants over your needs and wants, okay?" Danny loved Alabaster so much and would do anything he asked, and she knew he would do the same for her, but she didn't want to feel like she need him to be there every step of the way holding her hand, she wanted to be free, but that certainly didn't mean she wanted to break up with Alabaster that was out of the question it was true love.

Alabaster listened to what Danny had to say intently. He stared into her eyes as if deciding on something then replied "Fine.. I'll try and do what you ask.." Alabaster said warily. He didn't know what to do, he felt as if then and there a giant weight was put on his shoulders that he couldn't lift. "How about we go for a walk" Alabaster asked her.

Danny's face lit up when he said he would try, she wasn't nervous anymore.
"Where are you going to take me?" She asked with a girly giggle. She was wondering if he had planed this it would be so romantic to go on a walk and find a pick nick or a sunset to look at. She was just so happy her mind was wandering, that was something only Alabaster could do to her, to make her feel like she is the only thing i the world that mattered to him.

Alabaster smiled at her and stood up to go on the walk. He walked to the door and looked back at Danny, expecting her to come with. He opened the door for her and walked out. The sun was going down as they walked down the Roman road. He didn't try and hold Danny's hand because of what she said earlier. He flashed a grin at her and continued walking with her by his side.He took out a neck-lace from his pocket, he thought about giving it to her, but he stopped himself because it would probably be a-little cliche. Not that he was doubting the Vulcan kids craftsmanship. He put it back in his pocket, thinking about how stupid he was to think of trying to do that.
