"Okay... When I said sword I meant slashing and cutting. Not using powers from your sword."
She summoned a warrior and slashed at it. It blocked a few of her attacks but she managed to side swept it and stabbing it in its ribcage.
She wiped a few beads of sweat on her forehead.
"You see what I mean? Now you try. But I'll summon something harder then a warrior."
Ashley stomped her foot on the ground 3 times. A large hellhound came up.
"Only slashing! Got it?"
She stepped back to see him fight.

Alabaster parried the hell-hounds claws when it tried to strike at him. He slashed at the hell-hound giving it a gash in the side, it whimpering slightly. He sliced it through it's body and it disintegrated in a shower of golden dust.

Ashley made the dust swirl back to the Underworld.
"Nice. Now you should work on blocking. Thats what I need work on too"
She summoned up 2 warriors.
"Now don't slash or anything, just block."

Alabaster continued blocking and parrying the skeleton's strikes. Finally, after about 2 minutes he just sliced them through their hearts in 2 quick slashes, them disintegrating into nothing.

Ashley summoned up 2 for herself and she blocked them for a good minute until she had enough and slashed through both of them.
"You were good Al!"
She smiled and patted him on the back.

Alabaster smiled. "So, what now" he asked suspiciously.

Ashley smirked and made about 10 warriors come up.
"Now hand-to-hand combat! For when our weapons get knocked outy of our hands, or we run out of energy for our powers!"
She went up to the first one a landed a good blow to the face on it. She ducked when the dead warrior threw a punch. She punched it again and then bodyslammed on top of it. It dissolved into dust.
"Your turn."

Alabaster didn't look quite so sure about it. He frowned and stepped back. "Er... I don't like this too much." His eyes sparked with fear.

Ashley cocked her head.
"Why? Its safe, I swear. Here."
Ashley waved her hand and all but one warrior remained. She told it to do an easy mode. It nodded and turned to Alabaster.
"I can simply destroy it with a flick of my hand if it gets to be to much, okay?"
She was trying to be sincere. Everyone disliked one part of fighting. She hated long distance.

Alabaster upper-cutted the undead warrior and it's jaw creaked. The skeleton launched a blow at him with his sword but he kicked it out of his hand before it could hit him. He drove his fist through the body of the skeleton, his fingers crackling with lightning and it disintegrated.
