Thanks for clicking, it's good that you read these so you don't accidentally break them without knowing it.
1)NO godmodding or powerplaying
It's unfair to other roleplayers. They need a chance at winning, too!
2)Use proper grammar (Don't text talk!) and roleplay in past-tense
This means that you'd roleplay like this:
"I/*name of char* slashed at the monster and it bellowed in pain, turning to face me/her/him now. "
Instead of this:
"I/*name of char* slash @ monster and it bellow in pain, turn to face straight 4 me/her/him/now. "OMG!11!1! Help me pls!" I/*name of char* shout."
You're not a caveman. This is 2014, people!
3) Don't fight OOC.
It's okay if your chars fight, but don't make it personal and begin to fight with the other roleplayer. This is childish, and please calmly speak to them in a PM if you have an issue.
4) DO NOT give or ask for personal information.
If someone asks you this, PM an admin immediately and we will help you take care of the issue, because this is not okay.
5)One child of the Big Three per roleplayer.
This is to prevent there being 30 Big Three children. The Big Three aren't really even supposed to HAVE children anyway, but it's okay to have a little bit of them.
6) You are allowed to make a Playby, but...
it is optional, and please make it an appropriate picture. Also, please make sure you provide who the model is. A playby is a picture of a real person that you feel your charecter would look like, and you can give both a playby and a description or just a playby or just a description. A blog from Tumblr a friend of mine has linked on his website ismodelsoftherpingworld.tumblr.com/
7) You are allowed to make as many charecters as you may handle, but...
MAKE SURE that you roleplay all chars consistantly. If we find you aren't roleplaying a charecter enough, we will ask you to either get rid of that charecter or involve it in more roleplaying. If you do not, your charecter will be used as an NPC (non-playable char, kind of like an extra in a movie.)
8) Quests
Please consult a moderator or admin before making a quest or prophecy.
9) Don't post in threads that have (CLOSED) in the title.
This means that it is closed and you can no longer roleplay in it because there is either nothing to talk about anymore, the fight is over, etc.
10) Wait for all roleplay members.
If you are roleplaying with multiple people, please don't roleplay back and forth with only some roleplayers and not all. This can make a plot progress unfairly to those who decided to take a bathroom break and realize that the thread story has changed completely without any response from their character. Give everyone time to reply to the thread and don't reply more than once until EVERYONE has roleplayed. If a member does not reply within 3 days of the roleplay and has not messaged any of the other members participating in the roleplay to warn them of their absence, then you can keep roleplaying without that player. If they are active on the site, make sure you ask them as the thread may have fallen and they forgot about it. This is extra important when it comes to quests.
11) At least 3 or 4 sentances in each post.
This is to make sure you aren't clogging up the thread. Make sure you ask yourself if you've actually made a difference in the storyline before you post. If not, then either add more detail/action or just type *skip* so that the other roleplayer(s) can go on so that you have more to type about next time around.
12) Every Moderator (called Centurion) is entitled to a charecter whom is a centurion, but it is optional.
If they do not wish to have a centurion, then a member of their choice may have a centurion, but they will still be called a Centurion. The same goes for the Praetor (co-admin).
Rule Breaking Punishments
The first time you break a rule, you will be PMed a warning. Be careful next time.
The second time you break a rule, you will be PMed a warning and shoutbox abilities will be taken away for a period of time.
The third time you break a rule, Shoutbox abilities will be taken away for a set period of time and you will be suspended for a period of time.
The fourth time you break a rule, Shoutbox abilities will be permanently taken away and you will be suspended for a month or two at the least.
The fifth time - you're banned from the forum.
Note: We don't want to hear your sob story if you're banned- there's no excuse for breaking a rule FIVE TIMES and I really, really hope I won't have to ban anyone.
