Ashley clapped her hands a few times.
"You were pretty awesome yourself. But we may want to find a way to fight without using so much power, or we'll be dead withen a few minutes of a fight."

Alabaster smiled at her sort-of praise. "Well we lasted through that, luckily anyway." Alabaster stood up and offered her a hand.

Ashley looked at his hand and took it. She could feel most of the pain fading away thankfully.
"But we may not be lucky next time, you know?"

Alabaster flashed a smile. "Ya, I know.." Alabaster said, noticing they were still holding hands.

Ashley quickly retracted her hand and hid the blush she had behind her hair.
"We should try figuring that out as soon as possible"

Alabaster saw her make a quick movement to hide her blush. Which made him grow red in the cheeks as-well. He ran a hand through his hair ruggedly, and flashed a smile. "Figure what out" Alabaster said quickly, trying to get out of the situation.

"Huh? Oh, uh figure out how to use less energy when using our powers."
She then looked back down to the ground.

"Maybe the praetor would know?" Alabaster suggested. Motioning towards the praetors office while saying it.

Ashley nodded.
"She most likely would. Do you think we should bother her with the question? It could mean saving lives!"
She really was trying to be serious.

Alabaster nodded at her comment of saving lives."Let's go." Alabaster said confidently as he started walking towards the praetors office looking back at Ashley to see if she was coming.
