Amaya was walking to the Temple of Jupiter for the daily augury readings, once she got there she calmly grabbed a stuff teddy bear and walked over to the basin. She then took out her knife that she used for battle and sacrifices, she sliced the teddy bear at where its stomach would be and then tossed the remains of the stuffing into the basin. Most new comers to the camp think that its weird to use stuff animals, but Amaya knew first hand that using live was a big hassle. Not only do you have to raise them to just sacrifice them later but you have to catch them without killing them then kill them and pore their guts in the basin. And afterwards the temple smells and it takes to much work to clean the basin every time. So in short she liked the stuffing idea it was clean and it worked. She started to examine the stuff in in the basin, something was wrong what she saw couldn't be right, she saw a goddess and she had a hostage she couldn't see clearly who the hostage was but she could tell it was a child of Rome. She knew a quest would be needed so she grabbed another teddy bear, she did the same routine again and sacrificed another teddy bear, she started to wonder where the camps get all the stuff animals, but she had to push that thought aside so she could concentrate. She saw the prophecy.
Three shall go to the great land of sands
And find there the leader they seek
And to break the bands that wades in Strife
They cannot afford to be meek
She had no idea what it meant she needed the senators to help with that part, but she did know the first person to alert about the prophecy. She ran down to the Praetor's office, once she got to the door she slowed down and walked in silently waiting for Leila Sanders, Daughter of Trivia, and lead praetor, to notice her.

Leila looked up from her work to see Amaya, augur of the legion inside of her office. "May I help you, Amaya?" Leila looked up at her, as Argentum eyed her suspiciously- like it did every single other person except Bethany and Leila. Aurum yawned, licking his paw and turning to look at Amaya.
"Is there something wrong?" Leila clutched her purple Camp Jupiter shirt, worried that Amaya had seen something- something big, something bad.

" yes very" Amaya said in a soft voice, she told Leila about her vision and how a camper was caught by a goddess. " I couldn't tell which goddess it was but she was one I know that for sure" Amaya was secretly worried who could the captured camper be was it one of her friends? But she didn't want to make Leila worry she had enough to deal with at the moment. " we need a quest" Amaya was concerned who would be on the quest not because they might get injured but if they got the job done. " we should arrange a senate meeting and search the camp for someone that's missing " Amaya knew that Leila knew how to handle the situation and that Amaya was being outspoken but that was always her fatal flaw.

Leila's eyes widened as she heard about a camper being captured by a goddess.
"Indeed. I will hold a Senate meeting, meanwhile, Amaya, may I ask of you to help spread the word to search for a missing camper?" Leila stood up, walking over towards Bethany's office. She opened the door, looking around to tell her co-praetor.
"Do you have any idea where...where...Bethany is?" Leila asked, and it hit her that Bethany might be the missing camper. Worry flooded over through her mind.

I walked in to the praetors office with a ginormous gash and about a thousand cuts on my left arm and after noticing another man i said faintly,as if in a trance."Leila...the godess...uh."I passed out at that moment wondering why a goddess would strike me'You won't win this quest'she had said,I hadn't even had a quest but one question kept going through my mind'Who was Bethany.' She'd said that she would die by her hands,I couldn't let that happen.When I woke up I was in a hospital I think it was blurry though.The man that was in the praetors room earlier and Leila were there,as my eyes opened,they sighed relieving some stress,i suppose.

(Ummm Amaya is a little blonde girl)
Amaya did't notice the young boy wake she was to busy thinking. She didn't know know why she made everyone sound younger than her when she was one of the youngest campers at camp, but she earned her stripes by being the toughest kid in camp. Amaya was getting really worried and she was one of the only people that knew what Leila was thinking all the time besides Bethany. Speaking of Bethany where was she Amaya sent campers all around the camp looking for missing campers and spearheading the word of the prophecy. " Leila where is Bethany she should be here, and who is this Vincent kid why do you want some new camper to go on this quest he may not be ready"

Leila's face was blanketed with worry and she did nothing to hide her emotions.
"Bethany. Bethany is the missing camper. She must be." The praetoress was certain of this, of course Bethany could have been out at Freddy's Deep-Fried Diner in New Rome, but Leila and Bethany had developed a strong bond working together and she could feel it- they did not have an empathy link of some sort, but Leila could feel and know that Bethany wasn't okay.
"He is ready. I know he is ready. Vincent is new, but he is a strong demigod. I might be crazy to place this great amount of trust in a demigod on probatio, and I hope I am right to send him on the quest. As far as it being my choice- my decision will not be changed." She sort of wondered in awe how Amaya knew that Leila trusted Vincent to go on the quest.

Leila was basically saying I would go on a quest which was just great cause appariently I was a secret weapon against a goddess."um...who's Bethany?" I said and didn't mention the goddesses name. It just didn't seem right yet.'later ill tell them' I said in my mind."oh by the way a goddess attacked me and said we wouldn't win a quest,do you know what that means?"I asked curiously waiting for an answer.(sorry for calling her a guy it was wrong character that I clicked on)

" he had a vision" Amaya said completely ignoring Vincent, she looked into his past with the auguries and saw what Vincent did, she knew he was powerful but she didn't know if they should trust a child of Pluto. Plus Leila was starting to annoy her with all the' I'm the praetor my decision is final' stuff. But Amaya thought that this must be serious and he must be a part of it since he had a vision. " he is still on probatio, if Bethany was here she wouldn't let you do this" Amaya really had no idea what Bethany would do. " we must have a senate meeting and the senate must decide if he goes or not" Amaya secretly liked to argue but she didn't think it was a secrete, everyone knew she was not to be crossed and you do what she say, and if they didn't they learned fast.

"Well, of course, Amaya- we must always hold a senate meeting to listen to the opinions and ideas of our established campers and lares. But Bethany may not have approved of Vincent going on a quest, but I want him to go on the quest to prove himself. He is powerful, and capable of many things, and I know you can see that. Over all of the strong and intelligent campers we have here, yes, Amaya, I want Vincent to go- perhaps most of the lares and campers won't approve, but for now, until the Senate disapproves, he will go, Amaya." Leila was getting rather annoyed, but her voice disguised this with a calm tone. The augur was wise and she could clearly understand what Amaya was saying, but Leila stood firmly in her decision.
